POSITION
Position Overview:
- Perform all the warehouse duties to ensure smooth distribution workflow, providing great service to Brands while ensuring security, quality and efficiency of operations on a daily basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Follow all security & safety measures.
- Receiving – physical goods receiving, including quality and quantity checking. System update and put in appropriate location.
- Space re-allocation – moving of products / space to allow efficient operations.
- Sales orders handling – picking & packing, grey marketing code scanning, weight and prepare packing list if necessary.
- E-Commerce preparation with specific attention on packing the goods for our end-customers.
- Sales return handling – counting and report for variance and damage.
- Value added service handling – labeling, tester conversion, free goods conversion, assembly / kitting, disassembly, quality check, destruction
- Cycle count and stock take – count the quantity of goods.
- Housekeeping – keep warehouse clean and tidy. Make location and quantity check against system record.
- Ensure all tasks are completed with the expected level of quality/accuracy at the expected level of productivity, while always following the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
- Warn Supervisor/Warehouse Manager when detecting security risk, safety issue, IT system issue.
- Be Pro-active and propose ideas that could improve our efficiency, lead time and services to Customers.
PROFILE
Qualifications & Skills:
- TQM knowledge
- 5S knowledge
- Warehouse health and safety knowledge
Required:
- Basic computer skills
- Can read and identify alphabets and numbers
- Knowledge of proper manual lifting and handling technique
- Possess Forklift Driving License will be a definite advantage
- Familiar with WMS will be a definite advantage
